Android 12 Beta Now Available to Download for OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro

Shenzhen, May 19 — Global smartphone brand OnePlus today, following the first day of Google I/O, released the first beta of Android 12 to OnePlus 9 Series users. Those enrolled in the Android 12 Developer Preview Program can now download the Android 12 Beta 1 and access some of the very latest Android features.

The OnePlus 9 Series launched earlier this year brought the combination of smooth software and powerful hardware associated with OnePlus flagship smartphones, together with the new Hasselblad co-developed camera system, to take smartphone photography to new heights.

Now, the OnePlus 9 Pro and 9 in combination with the Android 12 Developer Preview Program, offers OnePlus users exclusive access to an early build of Android 12. Targeted at early adopters and developers with relevant experience, early access allows them to create and optimize apps for the platform, as well as report early feedback.

Android 12 introduces a number of new and improved system changes to applications including privacy, security, and performance updates. Users can try all new application features such as rich content insertion, extensions to native image decoding, compatible media transcoding, and more.
