If you have purchased OnePlus 8 5G UW Verizon variant, please activate the pre-inserted 5G SIM card on your device, follow instructions on the screen to complete it and then start your wonderful time with OnePlus. If not, please folllow instructions below to acitivate your SIM.
1. Insert a NEW VERIZON SIM to OnePlus device - no further action is needed.
Since our software and Verizon network set the VoLTE on as default setting, there is no further action is needed.
2. If you have a non-VoLTE VERIZON SIM - Get a new VoLTE SIM.
You need to apply a new VoLTE SIM first via Verizon stores.
Price of the upgrade to VoLTE depends on the plan you choose.

Open a new Verizon account or update the one you already have.
3. Insert an EXISTING VERIZON SIM which has been activated from a multi-mode device that has CDMA+LTE to OnePlus device – re-activate Verizon SIM via "My Verizon".
If you are using an already active Verizon Sim in your brand new OnePlus device, then ensure CDMA-Less feature is activated in your account:
