What is the OnePlus Trade-In Program?

The OnePlus Trade-In Program allows users to trade-in their old mobile phones and tablets in exchange for a OnePlus Store voucher or cash back.

How does it work?

Answer a few questions on regarding the brand, model, and condition of your device. We’ll provide an estimated trade-in value based upon the condition you describe the device to be in.

If you accept the value and place the trade-in order successfully, ZigZag will send you the information of drop off location or collection details, so that you can send your device to us. Then, once we receive your trade-in device, a team will inspect it and verify its condition within 5 business days. If everything checks out, we’ll either send the voucher to you or issue cashback on your OnePlus phone order that you submitted when initiating the trade-in order.

If the condition doesn’t match what you described, a new estimated trade-in value will be sent to you via email. You’ll have the option to either accept this revised quote or reject it in 14 days. If you reject it, your device will be sent back to you at no charge.

How to receive cashback?

How long does the trade-in process take?

Generally, it takes 2–3 weeks. But the sooner you send us your device, the sooner we can verify its condition and process your trade-in cashback or voucher.

How do I pack and ship the old device?

We provide you with a prepaid shipping label to return your device(No need to send the charger, cable, or other accessories) to our Trade-In Partner so you don't have to worry about packaging or paying for shipping.

Which devices can I trade-in? How much will I get?

When you visit the OnePlus Trade-In Program page, you'll answer a few simple questions about your device and describe its overall condition. Based on the information you provide, the quote for your phone is displayed instantly. Keep in mind that we need to receive your trade-in item on time and the condition needs to match your initial description.If the condition of the device doesn't match your initial description of it, we will send you a revised value via email. You can either accept or reject the revised value. If you accept, we'll continue with the trade-in. If you reject, we'll cancel the trade-in and return your old device to you. No matter what, we'll send you email updates about the progress of your trade-in, so you'll know what's happening at every step.

How long is my quoted value good for?

The quoted value is valid for 30 days.

Is there a way to track my trade-in status?

Can I cancel a trade-in?

If you haven't yet shipped your device, you can cancel your trade-in by simply keeping your device.

If you’ve already shipped your device, the trade-in can’t be canceled. If you receive a revised trade-in value after the inspection of your device, you’ll have the option to reject it.

If you’ve received a voucher or cashback, the trade-in can’t be canceled.

Will the date on my device be cleared?

We have professional software to perform all data removal. It is recommended that you backup all the data from your device before sending it to us. After data removal, you will not be able to recover any data again. In addition to this, it is required that you remove all passwords, locks (Find My iPhone, Samsung, Google, etc.), SIM cards, and memory cards before sending the device.

How do I find the IMEI number for my OnePlus device?

· Power on your OnePlus device and open up the dial pad.

· Enter the code *#06# , your IMEI number will appear on your screen.

Please note, you can also check for the IMEI number in print on the package of the phone.

What happens to my device once I send it to the OnePlus Trade-In Partner?

You will first receive an email containing the confirmation of your trade details. Meanwhile, please back up and delete any data stored on the device, remove all SIM cards, and disable any device locks or passwords. OnePlus will not be responsible for any loss of data that may be caused during the trade-in process.

Next, send your device via drop off or collection depending on territory. Once received, your device will be inspected within 5 business days . If the condition matches your initial description of the device during the trade-in process, we will send you the details of your voucher(s) and/or cash back within 2-3 business days.

If the condition doesn't match, we will send you an email with a new quote for you to confirm. If you decline or fail to respond within 14 days, we will send the product back to the address listed.

How to use vouchers?

· Please visit the OnePlus Store and apply voucher from your account (They may not be used in conjunction with other promotional offers).

· Each voucher code can only be used once. One voucher code per order.

· If a refund occurs, the voucher code value will be deducted from the refund. The voucher code cannot be used again.

· Certain order types (e.g. pre-orders) may prohibit the use of voucher codes.

I got an email saying that my quote value has been adjusted; what do I do?

In accordance with the criteria stated on the site, the condition of the device does not match the provided description. For this reason, the value of the device is reassessed. If you are not satisfied with the reassessed value, you may choose ’’Do not accep’’ in the email and we will return the product to you free of charge.

I cannot receive the voucher due to email problems.

Please check whether the email was placed in the spam mail folder. If not, we will send the voucher to you again.

Why is our assessed value lower than the offers other trade-in sites can provide?

The value is given based on the description list on the site. Since the list is different on each trade-in site, the given value will be different.

How are the recovered goods processed? Will it re-enter the market?

For devices that no longer have a market value, we will carry out an environmentally-friendly recycling process. For devices with value, we will carry out regular second-hand sales after data removal and inspection. We are determined not to refurbish the device, and to ensure that each recycled mobile phone is processed through formal sales channels via an environmentally-friendly manner.
