How does the Exchange Program work?

Know how much your device is worth by answering a few simple questions.
You can check the availability in your area by entering your PIN code on the OnePlus Store app or OnePlus.in. Then proceed to answer a few simple questions about your current device's brand, model, condition, and enter your IMEI number to get an estimated price for your phone.

Continue to purchase your new phone and have the Exchange value deducted from the price of your order when you pay.

Hand over your phone and receive your new device.
At your doorstep, our delivery executive will evaluate your exchange device to verify if its condition is the same as stated while placing the order.
Our delivery partner will run a diagnosis on-site to determine if the functionalities of the phone meet the required quality standards.
Make sure your phone is charged and has an active internet connection. Once your device is verified, the delivery partner will collect your exchange device and hand over your new phone. - 5
Additional Option if Device Doesn’t Match the condition.
If your Exchange device condition does not match the description stated while placing the order, you can still get your new device. For that, you have an option to keep your trade-in device and pay the entire exchange benefit amount to our delivery executive. Please note that the current accepted payment methods for the exchange benefit amount are cash and UPI (Unified Payments Interface).
Otherwise, our delivery person will cancel your order. You will have to place a new order on our website / app to receive the new phone. The payment for your cancelled order will be refunded to your original payment method.

What is OnePlus Exchange Program and how does it work?
The OnePlus Exchange program enables users to exchange any used smartphone and get an instant discount at checkout when you purchase a new OnePlus smartphone. To exchange your device, you can enter your pin code and go through a few evaluation questions on any of our smartphone purchase page to know how much your used device is worth and get that price deducted from your new phone order. Your device will be collected post a quick evaluation at the time of delivery of your order.
Is Exchange available in my area?
You can check the availability in your area by entering your PIN code in the exchange section on our smartphone purchase pages.
What devices are eligible for exchange with OnePlus Exchange?
You can check the list of eligible devices while placing an exchange order. You will be asked to enter your IMEI number to confirm the eligibility of your device for exchange.
What should I do before the courier comes to get my old device ready to exchange?
Please make sure to back-up all the data on your Exchange device, store it somewhere safe, and erase all the data on the device before our delivery person arrives.
Please ensure your device is at least 75-80% charged at the time of pickup.
At the time of pickup, you will need to have an active internet connection.
Also, you will have to download the following diagnostic app before the pickup: Cashify Diagnose.

What are the bonuses for the Exchange Program?
The Exchange bonus is an additional value that you can get when exchanging selected OnePlus devices. You can also get an extra bonus when buying specific OnePlus smartphones.
One account can only apply the exchange bonus and extra bonus for one time within half a year.

Why is my device unavailable for Exchange?
This could be because the Exchange service might not be available at your pin code. The eligibility for exchange also depends on the brand and model of your device and the condition in which your device is. If your device is eligible for exchange, you can try exchanging a different device.
What happens after I place my order?
Once the order is placed, our courier partner will bring your order to your doorstep within a few days. The delivery executive will call you before delivery to confirm your availability. At the time of delivery, the delivery executive will do a quick evaluation of your exchange device to check if the exchange device fits the description stated while placing the order. If the device matches the description stated, the delivery executive will collect your device and handover your new OnePlus smartphone.
Will I get a receipt for my Exchange order?
Yes, we will send you the invoice once the delivery is completed.
Is there a way to track my exchange status?
You can track your purchase and exchange status from your OnePlus account on the order section of OnePlus Store app and oneplus.in. We’ll also send out status updates via email.
Will the courier call before the pickup?
Our courier will call you beforehand to ensure that you are available when he arrives. If you won't be available, you can re-schedule to a different time directly with the courier.
What happens to the data on my old device?
Please back up your data before the delivery executive arrives. Our delivery executive will ensure that the data on your phone is completely erased before taking it.
What happens if there is a problem with my Exchange device?
If your Exchange device condition does not match the description stated while placing the order, you can still get your new device. For that, you have an option to keep your trade-in device and pay the entire exchange benefit amount to our delivery executive.

No, you can exchange only one device per smartphone order.
Can I exchange a different device other than the one described while placing the order?
No, once the order is submitted, you must exchange the same device that was described at the time of ordering. The Exchange discount given is based on the device details submitted by you. If our delivery person finds that your old device condition does not match the description stated while placing the order, the exchange process will be suspended, and your new phone order will be cancelled as well.
Can I cancel my Exchange order?
Yes.
1. Before your package is shipped, you can cancel your order on the Account page. If you cancel the exchange order, your new phone order will be canceled as well.
2. Once your package is shipped out, you can only inform the delivery executive that you wish to cancel your Exchange order when they arrive at your address. The delivery executive will help you cancel your exchange order as well as your new phone order. If you still wish to buy the phone, you will need to place a new order.
Can I get my exchange device back after the exchange is completed?
Once our delivery executive has picked up your exchange device you will not be able to get the device back.
Do I have to include accessories like chargers and cables?
It’s not necessary, but you can give your chargers and cables to the delivery person when they take away your old smartphone.
Exchange Program Terms and Conditions
These terms of use are entered into by and between You and [OnePlus India Technology Pvt. Ltd], with its registered address at [UB city, 6th floor, UB City 24, UB City, Vittal Mallya Rd, D'Souza Layout Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru, Bengaluru Urban, Karnataka, 560001] (“Company”, “we”, or “us”). The following terms and conditions (“Terms of Use”), govern the Exchange Program (the “Exchange Program”). Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you conduct the Exchange Program.By clicking “accept” or “agree” to the Terms of Use when this option is made available to you, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy found at.
By making the exchange, you represent and warrant that you are of legal age to form a binding contract with the Company and meet all of the legal eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not make the exchange.
Terms of the Exchange Program:
Use of Service

You understand that the following checks will be conducted by the delivery personnel who will be delivering the new device and picking up the old device. Additionally, the below checks should be undertaken compulsorily in order to qualify the device as eligible for exchange.
a.Brand and model of the old device matches the declaration provided by you at the time of purchase of the new device.
b.The phone switches on and should be in switch on mode for a minimum of 30 seconds without connecting to the charger.
c.The IMEI of the old device, provided by you, at the time of purchase of the new device, is correct and there is no mismatch.
d.The exchange device and it’s parts & accessories are original & genuine.
e.The screen should not have any cracks, visible lines, spots, water damage, discoloration and it should not be coming out from edges. The body of the phone should not have any crack and there should not be any body part (like button) missing from the phone.
f.There should not be any crack/dent/damage to the screen (big or small) and the internal LCD screen should not be damaged.
g.Before delivery, make sure you back up your data and ensure your Exchange Device has internet access and you have removed or permanently disabled security locks. iOS users’ needs to have their Apple ID and password ready to remove the “iCloud” lock when our delivery executive arrives. You also need to download the "Cashify Diagnose" App from Play Store/ App Store.
h.For all phones, the screen lock should be removed/disabled (all forms of screen lock such as pattern, pin, password, fingerprint, face recognition, etc. needs to be de-activated). iOS users’ needs to have their Apple ID and password ready to turn off “Find your iPhone”.
i.Exchanged device shouldn’t be "Country Locked", "Network Locked", any "Finance Locked" or "iCloud Locked" or any other cloud/account locked.
j.At the doorstep, our delivery executive will evaluate the physical and functional condition of your old device to verify if your device is in an acceptable condition. Make sure your phone is charged and has active internet connection. Once your device is verified, the delivery person will collect your Exchange Device and handover your new phone.
k.Once the transaction is completed, you will not ask to return or access the Exchange Device.
l.Your exchange device order can be cancelled if the exchange device is not in acceptable condition. In this case, pick up of old device and new device delivery may also get cancelled if the mandatory conditions are not met.
m.The whole process may take around 20-30 mins, you need to support the Logistics field executive during this time.
n.The exchange device pickup personnel may ask for government ID proof and indemnity bond, NOC. The pickup personnel will take the pictures/copy of the documents. - 2
You understand that in “Device Exchange” the price quoted for your old device at the time of checkout is the final price offered for your old device. The final price will be inclusive of all discounts and other offers available on your old device during the exchange program. You agree to not dispute the final price, or the mode of evaluation to arrive at the final price, after your acceptance of these terms and/or the placement of your order for a new device, whichever is earlier. You agree not to bring any claim against OnePlus, the delivery personnel/company, exchange partner i.e Cashify and any future purchaser of your old device in relation to the adequacy of the quoted price / value (if any) of your old devices provided as part of the OnePlus Exchange program.

You understand that in the event the device is not working or the delivery executive is not able to do an unlock check or screen lock check / IMEI check due to a phone being 'factory reset' or found damaged or there is any mismatch in the information provided by me regarding the device when checked by the delivery personnel, then the buyback offer will stand cancelled and the delivery personnel will neither hand over the new device to me nor take the old device. Any amount paid at the time of purchase of the new device will be refunded as per the refund policy of OnePlus.in, the related mobile site and mobile application. You acknowledge and agree that the delivery personnel’s decision regarding whether your old device passes the necessary checks shall be final and binding on me. You agree to not dispute the delivery personnel’s findings and decision and to waive and discharge the delivery personnel, the exchange partner i.e Cashify and OnePlus from any and all claims, disputes, actions or liabilities you may have, arising out of or in connection with the delivery personnel’s findings and decision.

You confirm that your old device which you are exchanging under the OnePlus Exchange program is genuine and is not counterfeit, free from any and all encumbrances, liens, attachments, disputes, legal flaws, exchange or any agreement of sale etc. and you have got the clear ownership of the said device.

You understand that OnePlus and its third party service providers will access your device, solely in relation to conducting the assessment of the quality parameters of your device.

You agree to indemnify and keep indemnifying OnePlus and any future buyer of the device against all or any third party claims, demand, cost, expenses including attorney fees which may be suffered, incurred, undergone and / or sustained by the Seller or any future buyer due to usage of the device by me till date and you undertake to make good the same.

You confirm that all the data in the said device will be erased by you before handing it over to the delivery personnel under the OnePlus Exchange program. You also confirm that in spite of erasing the data manually/electronically, if any data is still accessible due to any technical reason, such data shall be deemed to have been released in the public domain by you; the delivery personnel, OnePlus , the future buyers or the manufacturer shall not be responsible for the same and you will not approach any of the above parties for any retrieval or deletion of the data.

You hereby give your consent that your personal information that you have provided in connection with this buyback program might be processed, transferred and retained by the retailer and other entities involved in managing the program for the purposes of validating the information that you provided herein and for the administration of the program.

You understand that once your old device passes the quality checks undertaken by the delivery personnel and is the new device is handed over to you by the delivery personnel, in no scenario can your old device be returned back to you. Refunds, returns and replacements shall be governed by, and processed solely in accordance with, the applicable policies set out at oneplus.in, the related mobile site and mobile application (if any).

Limitation
1.One account can only have three failed Exchange orders per year.
2.One account can only apply two Exchange orders in 30 days.
3.One account can only use the Exchange bonus twice per year.Changes to the Terms of Use
We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all exchanges thereafter.
Intellectual Property Rights
Exchange Program and its entire features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by the Company or its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Trademarks
Exchange Program feature/ webpage and any related logos are trademarks of the Company or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of the Company or its licensors. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on the Exchange Program webpage are the trademarks of their respective owners.
Prohibited Uses
You may use the Exchange Program webpage only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use.
Reliance on Information
The information presented on or through the Exchange Program webpage is made available solely for general information purposes. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
